About

You own your stack. We just build it well.

OptimoWeb is a small, self-hosted web studio built on a simple thesis: your website, your data, and your automation should belong to you — not to four SaaS vendors renting you your own business.

The thesis

Most agencies assemble your presence out of subscriptions — a page builder here, a hosting reseller there, a marketing SaaS on top — and every one of them is rent you pay forever, with your data held hostage the day you try to leave. OptimoWeb does the opposite. We build on open-source (WordPress, Astro, Next.js, Medusa, n8n) and host it on our own infrastructure. The result is a stack you own outright: portable code, portable data, and no platform lock-in.

That is not a philosophical stance for its own sake — it is a practical one. Owned, open-source infrastructure costs less to run over time, moves faster because there is no vendor queue between you and a change, and never puts you in the position of paying more each year just to keep access to what you already built.

Who runs it

One operator, accountable end to end.

OptimoWeb is operated by Juan Reyes. Design, development, hosting, SEO, and automation are handled by the same person who has to keep the infrastructure running — so there is no handoff gap where work gets lost between a design team, a dev shop, and a hosting reseller who have never spoken.

The studio works in English and Spanish and builds for businesses in the United States and Colombia — with a home base in Pasto, Nariño. That bilingual, cross-border reach is a real advantage for the Latin and US-Hispanic markets we most often serve.

What we stand for

The principles behind every build.

You own your stack

Every build ships on open-source foundations — WordPress, Astro, Next.js, Medusa, n8n. No proprietary page builder holding your content hostage, no "export your data for $99/mo." When an engagement ends, you keep every line of code and every row of data.

One operator, full stack

Design, development, hosting, SEO, and automation are handled by the same operator — not scattered across teams that hand work off and point fingers when something breaks. One point of accountability, faster decisions.

Built for the AI web

Sites are structured so both search engines and large language models can read, cite, and recommend the business — a single canonical entity graph, llms.txt, and Speakable/FAQ schema baked in from the first commit.

Clear scope, fixed quotes

No sales runaround and no padded retainers. Engagements start with a brief; you get back the plan, the stack, and a clear quote for exactly what you will own.

How we work

Brief → Build → Host → Grow.

1 · Brief

We start with what the business actually needs — the market, the goal, and the real constraints — not a template picked in advance.

2 · Build

Hand-built on the right open-source stack for the job, fast by default, with the entity graph and structured data wired in from commit one.

3 · Host & secure

Deployed on our own infrastructure, Cloudflare-fronted, backed up, and monitored — no reseller hosting between you and the metal.

4 · Grow

AI-era SEO, conversion work, and automation that compound over time — and, whenever you want it, a stack you can take and run yourself.

Built for the AI web

We structure every site so that both search engines and large language models can read, understand, cite, and recommend it — a single canonical entity graph, llms.txt, and Speakable/FAQ schema baked in from the first commit. It is how a business stays findable as discovery shifts from ten blue links to AI answers: not just ranking in search, but being the source an assistant quotes when someone asks.

Let's build something you own

Tell us what you need. We'll scope it clearly and show you exactly what you'll own — the code, the data, and the plan.
