Pricing
Pay for the build. Own the stack.
Clear brackets, no sales runaround. You pay a one-time build cost and (optionally) managed hosting — never a per-seat SaaS rent to a platform you can't leave. Here's what a project actually costs.
Build packages
Three ways to start.
Launch
from $1,200
Founders, local businesses, and pros who need a fast, credible site that ranks — without a page-builder subscription.
- 5–8 hand-built pages (Astro or WordPress) — no bloated page-builder
- Mobile-first, Core-Web-Vitals-tuned (real Lighthouse pass, not a badge)
- On-page + technical SEO baseline and an AI-readable entity graph
- Contact/intake form wired to your inbox or an n8n workflow
- llms.txt + FAQ/Speakable schema so LLMs can cite you
- Cloudflare-fronted, backed up, and handed over — code is yours
Growth
from $3,500
Businesses that want the site to actually pull leads — deeper content, location/industry hubs, and an AI-SEO structure built to be cited.
- Everything in Launch, plus 15–30 pages of real depth
- Location + industry service-area hubs (info-gain, not doorway pages)
- Cascading entity-graph schema (Service / areaServed / BreadcrumbList / FAQ)
- Pillar guides written to earn crawl → cite → click, not keyword-stuff
- Internal-link architecture (~12 contextual links/page) for crawl depth
- CRO pass on the funnel: hero, trust, and CTA friction removed
Commerce
from $6,000
Stores that are done paying a per-sale platform tax. Next.js + Medusa, self-hosted, with a checkout you own end to end.
- Headless storefront (Next.js) on a Medusa v2 backend you control
- Catalog migration off Shopify/WooCommerce — products, images, categories
- Local payment gateway wired (e.g. Wompi/Stripe) — no per-order SaaS cut
- Product/Offer schema, category SEO hubs, and store-wide entity graph
- Region + currency setup and a checkout localized for your market
- Managed hosting + backups; you keep the whole stack if you leave
Keep it running
Managed hosting & care.
| Plan | Best for | Monthly | Includes |
|---|---|---|---|
| Care · Static/JAMstack | Astro / static marketing sites | $25/mo | CDN + backups + uptime monitoring + minor content edits |
| Care · WordPress | WordPress + WooCommerce | $45/mo | Managed updates, security hardening, backups, cache, 30-min/mo edits |
| Care · Headless commerce | Next.js + Medusa stores | $95/mo | App + DB hosting, backups, monitoring, deploys, SSL, gateway upkeep |
Care plans are month-to-month. Cancel and we hand over hosting docs so you can run it yourself.
How we price
Why a build costs what it costs.
Most agency quotes are opaque on purpose — a big round number with no line items, so you can't tell what you're paying for. We'd rather show the logic. A website's cost tracks three things: how many pages need to be built with real depth, how much SEO structure sits under them, and whether there's a store or migration involved. A five-page brochure site and a thirty-page store with a Shopify migration aren't the same job, and pretending they cost the same helps nobody.
The bigger point is what you're not paying. On a rented platform, the sticker price is only the start: you pay monthly software rent for as long as the site exists, plus per-sale fees if you sell, plus add-on subscriptions for the things that should be built in. Five years of $79/mo platform rent is nearly $4,800 — on top of whatever you paid to build the thing — and at the end you own none of it. Our model inverts that: a one-time build, optional hosting on our own servers, and full ownership of the code and data. You're buying an asset, not renting one.
That's also why we scope clearly instead of upselling. If a lean Launch that ranks today is the right first move, we'll say so — and leave a clean path to Growth when the traffic justifies it. The goal is the cheapest build that actually hits your goal, not the biggest invoice we can defend.
The real comparison
Owned vs. rented, side by side.
| OptimoWeb (owned) | Rented SaaS platform | |
|---|---|---|
| Monthly software rent | None — you host it | $29–$399/mo per platform, forever |
| Per-sale transaction fee | None (headless commerce) | 0.5–2.9% + gateway on every order |
| Who owns the code + data | You do — full handover | The platform; export gated or paywalled |
| AI-SEO / LLM-citation structure | Built in (entity graph, llms.txt) | Add-on plugin, if any |
| Leave anytime | Take the whole stack with you | Rebuild from scratch elsewhere |

Pricing FAQ
Clear answers on cost.
Why "starting at" instead of a fixed price?
Because a real number depends on scope — page count, content depth, whether you need a catalog migration, and how much SEO structure you want. The tiers are real brackets; a 20-minute scoping call turns them into a firm quote with no surprises.
Is the price a one-time build cost or a subscription?
The build is a one-time project cost. The only recurring cost is managed hosting/care (from $25/mo), and that is our own infrastructure — not a per-seat SaaS rent you pay to a third party. You are never paying software rent to keep your own site online.
Do I own everything if I leave?
Yes. Code and data are portable and we hand over the entire stack — repository, database, and deployment. That is the whole point of building on open-source (WordPress, Astro, Medusa, n8n) instead of a closed platform.
How does Commerce avoid Shopify-style fees?
A headless Next.js + Medusa store is self-hosted, so there is no monthly platform plan and no per-order platform cut. You still pay your payment processor for card processing, but nothing to a storefront platform on top of it. On real order volume that difference compounds fast — see our headless-vs-Shopify guide for the per-order math.
What is the difference between Growth and just buying more pages?
Depth, not page count. Growth is an architecture: location and industry hubs, a cascading entity graph, pillar guides, and internal-link mass engineered so search engines and LLMs can crawl, understand, and cite you. Ten thin pages do not do that; a structured 20 do.
Can you work within a set budget?
Usually, yes. Tell us the budget and the goal and we will scope the highest-leverage version that fits — a smaller Launch that ranks now, with a clear path to Growth later, beats an over-scoped build you cannot ship.
