Managed hosting

Hosting on infrastructure we actually run.

Managed WordPress and application hosting on our own servers — not a reseller panel with markup stacked on top. Cloudflare in front, nightly backups, and active monitoring, so your site stays fast, secure, and up.

The real problem

Why the default way falls short.

Reseller markup

Most "hosting" is a reseller account on someone else's platform, marked up and passed to you. You pay more for less control and a support desk that can only file tickets upstream. We host you directly on our own infrastructure.

Shared-box slowdowns

On crowded shared hosting your site competes with hundreds of others for resources, and a neighbor's traffic spike becomes your outage. We tune resources per app and front everything with Cloudflare.

Silent failures

Cheap hosts fail quietly — a backup that never ran, an SSL that lapsed, a site down for hours before anyone notices. We monitor uptime and health and catch problems before you feel them.

What you get

  • Managed hosting on OptimoWeb's own infrastructure — no reseller layer
  • Cloudflare in front of every site for CDN, DDoS protection, and edge caching, tuned per app
  • Automated nightly backups you can actually restore from
  • Uptime and health monitoring with alerting
  • SSL, security hardening, and updates handled for you
  • WordPress, Node, Next.js, and Docker workloads on the same managed stack

How a project runs

  • 1 · Assess & migrate — We review your current setup and move the site over with minimal downtime — DNS, SSL, and mail cutover handled carefully.
  • 2 · Front with Cloudflare — CDN, caching rules, and WAF tuned to your app so it is fast globally and shielded from junk traffic.
  • 3 · Back up & monitor — Nightly backups and uptime/health checks go live, with alerting so issues surface early.
  • 4 · Maintain — Updates, security, and performance stay handled — one operator who also knows how your site is built.

How we think about managed hosting

Hosting is where "you own your stack" gets real. When your site lives on a rented platform, the platform decides your limits, your prices, and whether you can leave. We host on infrastructure we run directly, so there is no third party inserting markup and rules between you and your own site. If you ever want to move, everything is portable — that is the point.

Cloudflare in front of every site does a lot of quiet work: it serves cached content from the edge near your visitors, absorbs DDoS and bot traffic before it reaches the origin, and lets us tune caching per application instead of one blunt setting for everyone. A store checkout and a marketing page have opposite caching needs, and treating them the same is how sites break or go stale.

The failure mode we design against is the silent one. A backup is worthless if it has quietly not run for months; an "up" site is worthless if it has been throwing errors since 2am. Active monitoring and tested, restorable backups are the difference between a five-minute recovery and a business-ending week.

Questions

Managed hosting FAQ

Is this reseller hosting?

No. You are hosted directly on OptimoWeb's own infrastructure — no third-party platform account marked up and passed to you. That means direct control, no upstream ticket queue, and no per-platform rent stacked on top.

What happens if my site goes down?

We monitor uptime and health and alert on problems, so in most cases we know before you do. Combined with tested nightly backups, recovery is fast rather than a scramble.

Can you host more than WordPress?

Yes — WordPress, Node, Next.js, and Docker workloads all run on the same managed stack. If we can build it, we can host it.

Can you migrate my existing site?

Yes. We handle the migration — DNS, SSL, and mail cutover — with minimal downtime, and front the result with Cloudflare.
